Donations needed!
Brothers and Sisters,
As many of you know, Carthage now mandates that all fraternities and sororities provide their own liability insurance. Since Tau Sigma Chi is a local fraternity, the complete cost of this insurance falls on the fraternity.
The actives came to the Alumni Association and asked if we could provide financial assistance as they were not prepared for this type of financial liability. Since the insurance requirement is not going away, we asked them to provide a plan that over time would wean them off our financial assistance. The actives came back with a plan that requested $5,000 over a 3-year period and the leadership team agreed. See the attached letter for more information.
In order to replenish our Treasury, we are asking you to consider making a donation today. Your donation will help put us in a position to be able to support the actives if necessary in the future, and to continue to provide alumni functions.
Every donation counts and helps to continue the Turtle and Dove tradition. Our heritage stands strong and it is because of your past and continued support.
